Cloudflare Queues provides reliable message delivery between Workers, enabling async processing patterns without external services. Produce messages in one worker, consume in another—eventually consistent but guaranteed delivery.
The model is familiar: topics for producers, queues for consumers, with bindings in your wrangler.toml. Messages are JSON objects up to 64KB each—small enough for most payloads. Consumers run as regular Workers, triggered by new messages.
Pricing is per million messages and message bytes. For low-volume use, it's essentially free. High volume? Still competitive with SQS or Pub/Sub. Great for webhooks, notifications, or batch processing—any eventual consistency is acceptable.
